Description : Used to demonstrate the formation of both transverse and
longitudinal waves. Apparatus comprises of 16 vertical steel
rods length 140 mm and 8 long ‘L’ shaped steel rods of
different size which rests on 24 casted aluminium discs
mounted on a horizontal steel shaft. This shaft is rotated by
means of a bakelite handle at the right hand end of
apparatus. With two casted side supports 175 mm high
having two horizontal steel supports for vertical rods and
one vertical steel supports with a groove for ‘L’ shape steel
rods. Mounted on wooden base 350 x 170 mm fitted with
four plastic feet. Overall height 445 mm.
