Description : For measuring the thermal conductivity of poor conductors.
Comprises a metal plate 13 x 110 mm with eyelets for
suspension, a brass steam chest of 50 x 115 mm height x
diameter, with a refilled inlet and outlet tube. Both plate and
chest drilled with a hole for thermometer. Chest and plate
hanged by cords from a ring of diameter 125 mm. On retort
stand, with rectangular base 175 x 125 mm, rod 500 mm
long. Complete with one disc of glass 3 mm thickness and
ebonite 1.5 mm thickness, wooden annulus 3 mm thick.
