Description : To measure the coefficient of expansion of various metal
rods. Consist of a metal jacket (steam or water) mounted on
a metal frame with micrometer scale at one end for accurate
measurement of expansion. Expansion rods are easily
replaced by simply sliding a rod into the heated jack, which
automatically pushes out the other metal rod. Overall
dimensions length x width x height 710 x 105 x 125 mm.
Supplied complete with four expansion rods of Aluminium,
Brass, Copper and Steel.
