demagnetising, and on d.c. mains with resistance in series
for magnetising only. Comprises of a helical coil, 310 mm
long, of copper wire, mounted on baseboard; push-switch,
soft iron rod 350 x 10 mm, length x diameter. Internal
diameter of solenoid, 25 mm. For use on 220 V mains
supply.
