| For teaching basic transformer operation to advance project
work. Additional accessories available for electromagnetic
experiments. Consist of a heavy cast alloy stand with rubber
feet for stability and with two clamping arms, channel in 35
mm width and 3 mm depth to take cores, extends across full
length.
Laminated U and I cores to form a closed core of section 25
mm, I-core 100 mm long U-core 100 mm in height. A pair of
pole pieces 65 x 30 x 25 mm length x width x height with one
end shaped and hole drilled through the total length along
cone axis.
Accessories -(
i) 1, 300 turn 4 A coil.
(ii) 2, 600 turn 2 A coil.
(iii) 1, 1200 turn 1 A coil
(iv) 1, 3600 turn 0.3 A coil
(v) 1, 12000 turn 0.05 A coil
All the coils are fitted with 4 mm socket connections, except
600 and 1200 turns coils. All coils are of enamelled copper
wire wound on moulded plastic bobbins of size 75 x 60 mm.
