| To demonstrate the conversion of the electrical energy of
heat via friction on the outside of a rotating vessel. Consist of
a brass cylinder, internal size 27 x 16 mm diameter with and
integral ‘V’ pulley in the base of the cylinder and a 6 mm
diameter steel shaft which fits into a bearing block. A vertical
pillar carries the cork lined friction arms and thermometer
support. Dimensions 165 x 100 x 178 mm high. Supplied
complete with driving belt, but without thermometer. |
