| A rapid inexpensive and effective apparatus to produce
controllable amounts of common gases such as hydrogen
sulphide, carbon dioxide etc. It is quickly charged, assembled
and easy to operate. Borosilicate glass, all joints are of
ground glass. Consist of three chambers lower acid reservoir
with glass stoppered ground tubular, central bulb of capacity
1000 ml to which a stopcock is fitted to a bent pipe, upper
bulb fitted with a thistle funnel for pouring and downward
tapered tube extending downward up to the lower reservoir.
A rubber separator in the central bulb prevents the solid
reactant from falling into the reservoir. Overall height 650
