Description : To demonstrate the various aspects of the kinetic theory of
gases, using small spheres set in motion by a mechanical
agitator and to simulate gaseous molecules. Comprises a
clear perspex tube of 50 mm diameter height 450 mm, fitted
with a loose-fittings metal cap. Tube mounted on a wooden
box of size 170 x 170 x 150 mm high having plastic feet.
Complete with an agitator piston driven by an electric motor
6 V d.c, phosphor bronze spheres of diameter 3 mm. Top
panel with 4 mm socket terminals. Overall dimensions 170 x
170 x 525 mm.
