Description : To demonstrate that the pressure in a liquid is transmitted
equally in all directions. The apparatus consists of a glass
cylinder approximately 250 x 25 mm diameter provided with
a plunger and terminating in a spherical bulb 50 mm
diameter. The bulb has a series of nine small holes around its
circumference.
The apparatus is filled with water and the plunger firmly
depressed. Water is ejected from all holes with equal force.
